Joe and I just came back from a weekend of R&R in the English countryside. Our first real trip outside of London to enjoy the scenery (hiking 3 peaks in 24 hours really didn't count). We did absolutely nothing in the best place to do absolutely nothing. It was great to not have to think about the million to do lists recently cramming my brain. We just strolled Cowley Manor's grade II gardens, got massages, watched a million DVDs, and had our favorite meal leisurely and late in the day -- breakfast! :). The photos above is the view from our bedroom/bathroom all weekend! The photo is deceiving because it's actually been a horribly wet and cold summer in London. Poo! Well at least I got to lay out by the pool for 1 hour this weekend. :)
